For Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Ch 33) students and VA Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E) (Ch 31) students, our tuition policy complies with 38 USC 3679(e) which means Post 9/11 and Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E) students will not be charged or otherwise penalized due to a delay in VA tuition and fee payments.  For eligibility consideration, a Post 9/11 GI Bill student must submit a VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and a Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Student must provide a VAF 28-1905 form.  Please see 38 USC 3679(e) for complete details.

Effective August 15, 2021, CSRIPS will be providing veterans who have been honorably discharged the opportunity to apply for the Firefighter I & II program prior to open registration.  CSRIPS is reserving a set number of seats per class, depending on headcount, for veterans.  Should a veteran be interested in applying for one of these positions in the upcoming semester, please email  Be prepared to submit your DD-214 for proof.
