September 24, 2018 – The paramedic program of the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
August 24, 2018 – In July of 2017, the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety entered into an agreement with Martin County Fire Rescue to offer the paramedic program to 21 MCFR EMT’s. After 13 months of long, hard work, the 21 students graduated last night in a ceremony in Stuart. Congratulations to the students, their families, and all of Martin County Fire Rescue on a very successful program.
The Students of EMT-Basic class E04-18 held a fundraiser at Jamba Juice in Coral Springs for the American Red Cross. The evening raised $368.67! Thank you all who came out to help out this worthy cause.
The Students of Wednesday Paramedic class PM03-17 held a fundraiser at Wings Plus in Coral Springs for The Funds for Glycogen Storage Disease Research. The evening raised $2300.00! Thank you all who came out to help out this worthy cause.
The Students of Firefighter class 18-03 held a fundraiser at the Margate Chili Cookoff for retired Captain Rob Reul who was injured in an accident earlier in the year. The evening raised $650.00! Thank you all who came out to support one of our own.
The Students of EMT class E02-18 sold custom shirts to raise money for the Best Foot Forward charity. This group offers programs for foster care youth to provide opportunity for academic success. The class was able to raise $2200.00 by selling the shirts! Thank you all who purchased a shirt.
The Students of EMT class E03-17 sold custom shirts to raise money for the Dive for Vets organization. This nonprofit charity is dedicated to assisting disabled veterans by offering training and diving excursions in the challenge of scuba diving. The class was able to raise $3800.00 by selling the shirts! Thank you all who purchased a shirt.

90% of EMT-Basic students graduated with 73% of them becoming licensed.
80% of Firefighter I & II students graduated with 99% of them becoming licensed.
69%* of EMT-Paramedic students graduated with 94% of them becoming licensed.
*Approximately 10% of students were hired during the program and were unable to complete the program with their original class.
